Brief introduction
CAPTEC FLEXPROOF-700 PVC waterproofing membrane is an advanced-formula, heat-weldable PVC thermo-plastic membrane that is designed for long-termweather-ability and performance. The physical properties of the membrane are enhanced by a tenacious,weft-inserted polyester fabric that is encapsulated bythick PVC- based top and bottom plies.The smooth surface of the PVC membrane allows for atotal-surface fusion and permanent weld, creating aconsistent,watertight, monolithic roof assembly. PVC roofing membrane can be used in adhered and mechanically fastenedsystems.
The dark gray/blue/green-colored bottom plyprovides a visual confirmation of a proper weld duringthe lap welding process.

Installation technology of PVC waterproofing membrane
After preparation ofthe basis the sheet of vapor barrierfilm is laid.Then the roofis further insulated with foampolystyrene or basalt wool. Then you can start theinstallation ofthe membrane.
For waterproofing of structures with PVC roofing membrane, special hot air welding machine and building dryers are used. Welding is carried out by hot air using automaticequipment which optimizes the temperature, speedand pressing force. Welding with the manual dryer isapplied at the junctions and at the places where use ofmachines is not possible. This technology of bondingthe two waterproofing sheets ensures reliability of theseam and fully sealed surface. The average service life of PVC roofing membrane is 20 years, depending on the manu.facturer and the quality of installation.
